Who are we?

Here is our purpose, our vision and our values

OUr Purpose

To love God and love others in such a way that our lives reveal an authentic relationship with Jesus.

OUR VISION

We seek to lead people to

Discover truths about Jesus and His Church, to

Deepen their relationships with God and others and to be

Devoted to others in the church, local communities and around the world.

We believe spiritual growth is best understood as a series of steps

as we surrender more and more of ourselves to God and His will for our lives.

These steps are practically applied in the life of our church in terms of

CONNECT, GROW, SERVE.

What we value

1. WE VALUE THE WORD OF GOD.

IT'S OUR FOUNDATION FOR EVERYTHING

Our source of truth is the Word of God, without error and totally trustworthy. It is the basis for all we believe and practice and is as relevant for our culture today as it was to the culture it was written. Whenever teaching occurs in the life of our church it is based on the Word of God.

2. WE VALUE PEOPLE.

ALL PEOPLE. SPIRITUALLY SEEKING, FOLLOWING, GROWING, LEADING OR MULTIPLYING.

We value people at all stages of their spiritual journey and our desire is to challenge them to always be moving forward towards spiritual maturity. We long to encourage those who are seeking to put their faith in Jesus. We long to encourage those who are followers of Jesus to grow in their relationship with Him. We long to encourage those who are growing in Jesus to serve Him. We long to encourage those who are serving Jesus to lead others and ultimately multiply themselves.

3. WE VALUE THE GREAT COMMISSION.

IT IS A MULTIPLYING MOVEMENT.

God has called us to make disciples who make disciples who make disciples. We believe that we must strive to multiply ourselves locally and that through effective partnerships, we can be part of an exponential eternal impact worldwide.

4. WE VALUE WORSHIP.

IT SHOULD BE HONORING & WHOLEHEARTED

Our worship is designed to focus our attention towards God. He is an audience of one and we gather together to all participate in giving God the honor and praise He deserves. We strive to offer worship experiences that edify, admonish and spiritually refresh.

5. WE VALUE MINISTRIES.

THEY SHOULD BE PURPOSEFUL & EFFECTIVE

It’s our objective that our ministries accomplish one of five biblically mandated goals: lead people to faith in Jesus Christ, encourage people to grow in their faith, equip people to serve, draw people to God’s throne in worship, and demonstrate Christ’s love. While God’s message is timeless, our methods will change as necessary to ensure that we remain effective in impacting the people we are called to serve.

6. WE VALUE RELATIONSHIPS.

THEY SHOULD BE GENUINE & ACCEPTING

We believe that the key to a thriving church is an atmosphere of accepting relationships where people are building authentic friendships through and in Jesus Christ. We believe that people need a place where they have a sense of belonging, a place where they can feel safe, a place where they can find forgiveness, a place where they can find support and encouragement.

7. WE VALUE OUR COMMUNITY.

IT IS A PLACE TO GET INVOLVED AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

We value the communities in which we live and serve. We desire to be actively involved in ways that will tangibly touch the lives of those who live around us with the love of Christ. We value every opportunity given us to make a difference in their lives personally and eternally.

8. WE VALUE GENEROSITY.

WE DON'T JUST GIVE WE ARE GENEROUS.

We intentionally give of our time, treasure, and talents so that other’s lives can be enriched. We believe as stewards of all God has graciously given that we must be known as generous people. A culture of generous people creates a generous church that glorifies a generous God.

9. WE VALUE PRAYER.

IT SHOULD BE PERSISTENT & EMPOWERING.

We believe that we cannot effectively accomplish all that God has for us to do if we are not continually on our knees in prayer, individually and corporately. We believe that our spiritual power and strength must come from having spent concerted time in conversation with God before His throne of grace. The effectiveness of the previous eight core values depends on our commitment to the core value of prayer.
